Violent Society (Philadelphia, PA) is a punk rock band formed in 1990. They were known for playing a variety of punk that appealed to audiences of pop punk, hardcore punk, and late-70s UK punk.

The band has a long list of releases on their discrophy. From this list, Violent Society has released multiple records with CI Records.

In 1996, Violent Society released EP ‘The Rise of Punk Doesn’t Mean Anything’ with CI Records and Motherbox. They returned with CI Records in 1997 to release their full-length album ‘Times of Distraught’, and again in 1998 with their split EP with The Suspects, ‘The Suspects & Violent Society’.
