The FIRE DEUCE is the brain-child of COHEED AND CAMBRIA guitarist Travis Stever and 3's Joey Eppard. Though labeled a "side-project" due to Stever's full-time commitment to COHEED, it would be a mistake to consider it a half-thought out hobby, or a nascent concept. Rather, the DEUCE is a fully realized idea put properly into action.

Featuring guest appearances by other members of COHEED the band 3, and their friends, Children of the Deuce combines elements of COHEED'S unique style alongside the hard-rock influence of bands such as AC/DC and GUNS N ROSES, the raw energy of THE STOOGES, and the rocking punk riffage of TURBONEGRO, to create a brilliant, must-have record any COHEED fan will love.
