Q: Does CI Records accept Demos?
A: We definately accept unsolicited demos, but please understand how many we recieve. While we listen to everything we get, there simply isn't enough time in the day to respond to every band that does send us a package. If you send us a package and we don't get back to you, please don't take it personally. It doesn't even neccessarily mean that we don't like your music, its just a simple matter of time.
If you'd like to submit a demo, please use the address on the left, and mark the package ATTN: Demo Submission. It certainly helps to include a press kit so we have all of the relevent information about you.
Q: What is the story behind CI Records?
A: CI Records was started by Jeremy Weiss in 1989 as a vehicle to release his own music and music by bands he was passionate about. Over time the label has released over 50 offerings from the diverse spectrum of "independent music", growing from a hobby into a fulltime effort.
CI Records has worked with veterans such as THE JULIANA THEORY, ONELINEDRAWING and SENSE FIELD, as well as having helped launch the careers of bands like THE PINK SPIDERS, AUGUST BURNS RED, ONCE NOTHING and SADAHARU.
.Q: Where can I find materials to help promote CI bands?
A: Thanks for asking! Under the "Press" section of the website, you can find hi-resolution images of album artwork, band logos and photos that can use.
If you happen to create flyers or promotional material for any CI artists, send us photos of you in action promotion the band and you just might get a prize! Feel free to get creative!!!

A: In addition to being a record label, CI has also opperates one the longest running independent music store in Lancaster PA, having been in business since 1995!
CI Productions has been booking and promoting shows in Central Pennsylvania for over 20 years, having booked some of the all time greats!
Committed to being involved all the myriad aspects of the industry, CI Road Management & Crew has provided professional touring staffs to many household names.

A: Technically nothing. Many moons ago, the bossman played in a punk band called Corrupted Image.
